Dominique Fache (22.03.1949) is Enel’s General Director for Russia and CIS from September 2007 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “Enel OGK-5” – one of the largest power generators in Russia. Born in France, graduated from the Sorbonne University as an Engineer, he has been working in Russia for more than 15 years since 1992, first as the Country Manager for the Schlumberger Industries and later as a consultant and independent member on the boards of leading Russian energy companies.
After joining the Schlumberger Industries in 1993, Fache was appointed Country Manager for Russia and the countries of the CIS, moving to St Petersburg. At the start of his career, between 1972 and 1987, he participated in the creation and development as Deputy Director of the Sophia Antipolis, science park in Nice, where he is now Chairman of the Board of Directors of France’s leading research and development zone.
Since the moment of their establishment Mr. Fache has been a Member of the Supervisory Boards of the Market Council and the Council of Energy Producers – main regulatory bodies of the Russian electricity market.
In 2001, he founded the “Club de Nice”, which organizes a high-level forum for Europe’s energy leaders annually.
